Event 158 : Open Air Yoga & Meditation

In a moment that transcended weather and time, Tammana NGO organized an open yoga event on 11th August 2024 at Fragrance Garden, Sector 36 Chandigarh that will be remembered for its beauty and serenity. As participants left their homes, undeterred by the possibility of rain, they felt a special calling—a pull that led them to something extraordinary.

As the soft breeze welcomed everyone with open arms, the connection with nature deepened, and it felt like a warm embrace. The gentle raindrops that kissed the faces and bodies of the participants during Shavasana brought a sense of inner peace, manifesting in smiles that spoke of pure contentment.

Inspiration was everywhere, with a shared determination that knew no bounds—regardless of age or gender. When the drizzle intensified, no one budged; the yoga instructor continued with unwavering focus, and it felt meant to be. It was a divine experience, where every soul present felt the unity and sanctity of the moment.

The event stretched over two hours, yet no one wished to leave. The participants relived the joy of childhood, running and playing on the wet grass with bare feet, their spirits rejuvenated. It was as if their inner child had come alive once more.

The instructor’s parting words resonated deeply: “लोग तो तरस जाते हैं, rain योग के लिए, you got it luckily.” It was a gift, a rare blessing to practice yoga under such conditions. The age-old saying, “जो जागत है सो पावत है,” came true for everyone present.
